What airport should I fly into?

Kansas City Airport (MCI). Lawrence is a 50 mile drive from the airport.

Do I need a rental car?

While shuttle and rideshare services are available from MCI to Lawrence, a rental car will likely provide the most flexibily during your stay.

Are rideshare services available in Lawrence?

Yes, Uber and Lyft are available. However, wait times are likely to be on the longer-end.

Complimentary Transportation

Will there be transportation provided?

We are pleased to offer shuttle service for guests staying at our designated hotel blocks: The Springhill Suites, The Oread, and The Eldridge Hotel. Shuttles will depart from each hotel at 5:00 pm, so please make sure to board ahead of time.


After the ceremony, shuttles will be available to transport guests to the Padgett home, and will continue to provide round-trip service to and from the hotels starting at 8:30 pm. We hope this makes your experience even more enjoyable and stress-free!
